Let me address the other lie. Not the accusations, those I have already answered, and the record has answered them more definitively than I ever could, but the lie that traveled beneath the accusations, the infrastructure lie, the one that made everything else possible even after the evidence failed to materialize. The suppression myth.

The story has been told so many times it has hardened into something that passes for common knowledge. The laptop was real, the evidence was damning, and powerful forces in media and government conspired to bury it before the 2020 election. Silicon Valley censored it. The intelligence community suppressed it. The press ignored it. If the American people had been allowed to see what was on that hard drive, the election would have gone differently.

But the record shows something very different.

The New York Post ran the laptop story on its front page on October 14, 2020. Then again. And again. For two consecutive weeks the paper treated it as the defining story of the American political moment.
